Project Overview:
Rubis Energie Kenya is a major player in the fuel distribution business in Kenya and has established its presence across Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. In a bid to reduce energy costs and carbon footprint, Rubis Energie entered into an agreement with Rensource which saw the deployment of a combined 40kWp Solar PV solution for two of its stations at Loresho and Bellevue.
Technical Information:
For each station, we deployed roof-mount set ups with 37 500Wp PV modules and 1 inverter for a total 20kWp production capacity per station.
Practical Benefits:
Our PV solution ensures cost savings to Rubis Energie as they now enjoy a cheaper alternative electricity supply compared to off-the-grid sources like diesel generators, amongst others. This project will generate up to 40MWh of energy while saving over 25 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
